The City of Blythe invites sealed bids for the construction of the New Water Reservoir at Palo Verde College, 1 College Dr. Blythe, CA 92225. The City is seeking bids for a new 500,000 gallon bolted water reservoir that will include site fencing modifications, site grading, site inlet and outlet piping modifications, electrical and control modifications and the abandonment of the existing 500,000 gallon reservoir after constriction and commission of the new water reservoir. 

There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting at 10:00am on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 in the Multi-purpose Room at City Hall, 235 N. Broadway Blythe, CA 92225. Bids shall be prepared in conformance with the Instructions to Bidders and other Bidding Documents. All bids are due no later than 2:00pm on Thursday, February 17, 2022 and shall be publicly opened at that time. Bids must be filed with the City Clerk, 235 N, Broadway, Blythe, CA 92225. 

Notice is hereby given in accordance with the California Subdivision Map Act and Planning and Zoning laws that approval of a site plan to develop a new health care facility will be considered by the City Council at its regular meeting on:

SAC Health System proposes to renovate an existing vacant office building to be used for a health care facility that will serve the community of Blythe. The 2.16-acre Project Site is located at 500 N. Broadway, north of E. Chanslor Way in the City of Blythe; (APN 542-100-018). The West side of the building will be owner occupied space with a new open floor plan layout to create medical office spaces for family medicine, pediatrics, and supporting departments. The East side of the building will have lighting, HVAC, and flooring upgrades. The layout of the East side of the building is to remain as-is with the exception of any required ADA upgrades. The applicant is requesting a two phased approach to this project with Phase I consisting of use of the clinic in its current state and Phase II consisting of major construction on the West end of the building as well as updates on the East end. The exterior scope will include re-paving of the parking lot, exterior lighting, minimal landscaping, and required ADA upgrades. The City has determined that the proposed Project is exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review under the categorical exemptions for existing facilities and reconstruction as defined in CEQA Guidelines §§15301 and 15302.
