Blythe is the centre of 4 big cities which is Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas and Phoenix. we can use Blythe as a hub and try to create new opportunities for the people of Blythe and people outside of Blythe. we need some investors who are interested in warehouses and logistics businesses. to using some political contact we can try to invite some big companies to invest in Beautiful Blythe and let's make Blythe as a "Heart of California". we can invite for example. AMAZON WAREHOUSE, Caruso Logistics, Champion Logistics Group, Clark Logistic Services (CLS), Common Wealth Inc, etc. we can also invite some IT companies' call center. in conclusion, I just want to say. Blythe need someone who can bring money in Safe of Blythe.

AZ residents will be going in droves to Palm Springs for legal pot. Blythe is the first CA city when leaving AZ. If we don't jump on the band wagon we will miss out on a great opportunity for Economic Boom for Blythe. Pot dispensaries and farming. It can be done nicely. Use Palm Springs business plan as a model. Do it before Laws change in AZ. Will be legal in entire USA. Let Blythe be its biggest supplier. Tax revenue will be much needed boost to city coffers for all sorts of good things. The ends justify the means.

Turn blythe into a socialist community...before you think I'm crazy here me out...the only way the town make's capital is Passer by for groceries, motel, or fastfood. This does no good for locals who can't captilize on retail, or any form of entertainment. If this continues to be the case blythe will turn into a ghost town. Instead teach trades for free and get people building free housing, coffee shops, libraries, not for profit but bettering the community. Their will still be capital to be made with the motels and restaurants for the city, but for those who work for the community they will attend weekly development meetings. Fill the storefronts with free rent for a bowling alley or movie theater. Workers who worker in the center will get a credit towards local coffee shops and grocery stores. The city can build farm's specifically for the benifit of the commune. Everyone's needs and more will be met if everyone puts in an effort. This will create jobs and a living for locals.

It is very important to have a Walmart for employment and a drawing card for the city. If you want this to grow there is no question Walmart would be a good start.

WalMart needs to be brought to Blythe. We only have Kmart as our largest retailer and we citizens are being kept at poverty level with the insane price gouging that is going on. I have only recently moved here and was told that Kmart vetoed the proposal before because they didn't want to lose business. However, they ARE losing business because those who can, leave Blythe to shop elsewhere. I have noticed that for it being the only department store, they have very few customers. Smart and Final is another business that gouges prices as well as Albertson's, who have always been high priced. When will the Chamber of Commerce see the light? Or are they padding their pockets alongside Kmart, Smart and Final and Albertson's to the detriment of Blythe's citizenry?

Big business must be considered. Blythe needs jobs. It also needs revenue that we're missing out on from not having places for travelers to stop. Local businesses are all closing their doors because they can't afford to stay open. Local residents can't afford to shop. It's a vicious circle. We have to look to tourists to spend money here. Right now, there's nothing to draw them into town, short of fast food and fuel, all of which is available right off the freeway. Why bother driving into town? The only time Blythe gets profitable is snowbird season and a few holiday weekends a year with the River crowd. Even then, people are having to drive to Parker or Indio to get things that aren't available here. We just don't have a choice anymore.

I heard developer wanted to build but was rejected. At this point I don’t think zoning issues should slow city growth and revenues not to mention the aesthetics of the property
