The County of Riverside has initiated the preparation of the County’s next Five-Year Consolidated Plan. The 2024-2029 Consolidated Plan is designed to assist the County, its cooperating cities, residents, and service providers assess affordable housing and community development needs and to make data-driven, place-based investment decisions. 

An integral component of the Consolidated Plan is that cooperating Cities, such as Blythe, asses their community development needs (affordable housing, social services, economic development, community facilities, etc.); reviewing available resources, and establishing priority projects and activities using HUD-CPD Funding which includes CDBG funds over the next five years. The City of Blythe ask residents to take a few minutes to take the survey below to help us better understand the needs of the community. These findings will help us better allocate future CDBG funding to areas of concern/interest of the our residents. 

A primary component of the Consolidated Plan process is a comprehensive community needs assessment survey. All interested persons, organizations, and agencies are encouraged to complete the  2024-2029 Consolidated Plan Survey.
