The City of Blythe will accept Commercial Cannabis Business Permit Applications on an on-going basis for Cultivation, Manufacturing and Testing Labs.
The City of Blythe is announcing the start of the application cycle for the 2023-2024 Urban County CDBG program. These Federally-funded programs are used by the City to provide decent housing, a suitable living environment, and the expansion of economic opportunities principally for persons and families with low-incomes.
Application will only be accepted from 501 (c)(3) non-profit organizations. Applications and Application Instructions are available at the City of Blythe, Office of the City Clerk, 235 N. Broadway, Blythe, CA 9222 and on the City of Blythe’s website: www.cityofblythe.ca.gov. Applications will be received at the City of Blythe, office of the City Clerk, 235 N. Broadway, Blythe, CA 92225 until 2:00 PM on Monday, October 24, 2022.
The City Council will meet on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 6pm in the Council Chambers at 235 N. Broadway in Blythe, CA 92225 to make the final 2023-24 CDBG funding determinations.
The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) maintains 16 Border Protection stations along major roadways to inspect vehicles traveling into the State. One of which is located in the City of Blythe, just west of the I-10 Bridge. The State of California is working to relocate the existing Blythe BPS to provide a facility that is sufficiently sized and equipped to accommodate necessary CDFA inspection operations.
